Taco Jake’s To Host Charity Night Benefitting Heritage League of Siloam Springs
Taco Jake’s, Northwest Arkansas’ savory taqueria, located in Siloam Springs, will host Charity Night from 5 to 9 p.m. on April 8. Charity Night is an event where a percentage of the night’s proceeds will benefit the Heritage League of Siloam Springs.
The Heritage League is a group of locals working to improve the community through projects focused on helping the underprivileged and bettering the quality of life among residents. Taco Jake’s will donate 10 percent of the evening’s proceeds to the Heritage League which will, in turn, directly benefit the local community.
Organized in 1969, the Heritage League is a group of female volunteers dedicated to serving and improving the community, according to the group’s website. The group undertakes projects to help underprivileged individuals with the purpose of eliminating suffering and improving quality of life. For more than 25 years, the Heritage League has raised funds for scholarships which have assisted many students with the costs of higher education.
