Taco Jake’s To Host Charity Night Benefitting Girls’ Ministries, Power Chicks 2019

Taco Jake’s, Northwest Arkansas’ savory taqueria, located in Siloam Springs, will host Charity Night from 5 to 9 p.m. on April 22. This Charity Night is an event where a percentage of the night’s proceeds will benefit the Girls’ Ministries group of Faith Alive Church in Siloam Springs. Taco Jake’s will donate 10% of the evening’s proceeds to the ministry, directly benefiting the lives of local girls.

Girls’ Ministries is the official name of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) ministry to girls. The ministry focuses on incorporating the club concept for girls from preschool to high school. The goal of Girls’ Ministries is to win girls to Jesus Christ, disciple them and make imprints with eternal significance, according to the IPHC website.

The event will specifically benefit the participation of Girls’ Ministries of Faith Alive Church in the quadrennial Power Chicks retreat, which will occur from July 26 to July 29 in Asheville, N.C. Power Chicks is an all-girls retreat where hundreds of girls and leaders from around the country gather together in the Blue Ridge Mountains for a weekend of worship and sharing, according to IPHC.

Taco Jake’s, Northwest Arkansas’ savory taqueria, located in Siloam Springs, will host Charity Night from 5 to 9 p.m. on April 8. Charity Night is an event where a percentage of the night’s proceeds will benefit the Heritage League of Siloam Springs.

 

The Heritage League is a group of locals working to improve the community through projects focused on helping the underprivileged and bettering the quality of life among residents. Taco Jake’s will donate 10 percent of the evening’s proceeds to the Heritage League which will, in turn, directly benefit the local community.

 

Organized in 1969, the Heritage League is a group of female volunteers dedicated to serving and improving the community, according to the group’s website. The group undertakes projects to help underprivileged individuals with the purpose of eliminating suffering and improving quality of life. For more than 25 years, the Heritage League has raised funds for scholarships which have assisted many students with the costs of higher education.

Taco Jake’s To Celebrate Grand Opening On Valentine’s Day  

Siloam Springs, Ark.— Feb.- , 2019

Taco Jake’s, Northwest Arkansas’ newest Mexican restaurant, located in Siloam Springs, will open their doors for business this week. An official ribbon cutting will occur at 11 a.m on Feb 14. The Taco Jake’s team will be distributing $10 gift certificates to the first 20 grand opening attendees. The restaurant is located at 403 US-412.

Jacob Frese, a longtime restaurateur, noticed a lack of flavorful Mexican food in the area and created Taco Jake’s to expand options in the area while offering unique, simple takes on customer favorites.
